Divyesh “Aku” Desai

Divyesh attended university in India where he graduated with a degree in BA.  After graduating college, he headed the family business where he successfully doubled profits. Upon moving to the United States, he worked various roles and saved resources to acquire businesses such as convenience stores, dry cleaning businesses, and eventually hotels. 

In 2015, Divyesh sold his diverse portfolio and invested in Evergreen Hospitality Development Group, where he currently serves as a Board Member. 

Divyesh has been critical in pushing Evergreen’s construction projects over the finish line.

On aggregate, he has overseen the construction of over 245,000 square feet of premium branded hotel inventory from Marriott and Hilton. Divyesh has developed an expertise in resolving GC and Subcontractor complications, sourcing gap funding solutions, conducting insightful cost overrun analysis and remedies, spearheading FF&E quality assurance protocols, and generally implementing cost effective solutions on behalf of ownership.  Divyesh approaches construction challenges with an owner’s mindset, which allows him to consistently deliver value and apply unique solutions to a host of construction related and operational challenges. 

Divyesh currently resides in Vancouver, WA with his wife and children.
